Elwood Saturday Drama Buds

 TRIAL SESSIONS Available throughout the term 

SATURDAY 9:30 – 10:45 am 

 

We will focus on our 4 aims again, starting with communication and collaboration skills as we look at scripts/stories where we can learn to perfect a role and see the benefits of each person having an equal part to play.

We will introduce a variety of scripts and topics, and then hear the group’s ideas on what they are passionate about creating.

As we progress through the year, we will introduce pair work, and finally, some monologues to showcase our fantastic character-creating skills, and become confident, shining performers!

The class format will be warm-up techniques and improvisation devising, as well as script work, exploring different approaches, taking direction and rehearsing scenes for improvements.

Term Price: $34 per class x amount of sessions per term. 

Class times: 9:30 – 10:45 am

Class Location: Elwood, Elsternwick Park Tennis Centre, 464 St kilda St.

Parking is available on-site, parents can either stay in the session, or if they are happy to drop off, they can leave, or stay on-site and just be out of the room 🙂

This includes:

• 1 Hour, 15 mins Drama class
• All Term Sessions, including the final extended session at the end of the term for performance viewing
• And LOTS of creative fun!
