TIME

Classes will run as regular online sessions
Times TBC

Teens (Age 13 – 17)
Adults (Age 18 +)

COURSE

Classes are open to all, no audition required.

We will explore a mixture of Theatre Performance, Writing for Theatre and Devising Techniques.

BOOK CLASSES

Classes are booked in 10 week blocks.

Those that continue on may work towards a performance for the new year.

What do you need?

You need to be excited by performance, ready to discover and unleash creativity, and be passionate about creating and nurturing your own content from beginning to finish.

Creativity.  Confidence.  Communication.  Collaboration.

A 10-week intensive course for teens and adults with a Showcase finale, with additional directors and experts to help refine your skills.

The course is open to all levels of experience and walks of life, providing the foundations plus tips for ongoing theatrical development.

Please note:  Additional work outside of the sessions will be required for tasks such as research, writing, and rehearsal.
A follow-up advanced course will be available after completion of “Immerse”.


ACTOR TECHNIQUES AND APPROACHES

A look at the different styles and how to find what works for us.

CREATING CHARACTER

Physical theatre explorations and approach.

CONTEMPORARY PLAYWRIGHTS

Studying and exploring some great texts with a variety of styles.

MAKE MY MONOLOGUE

Looking at using the previous techniques learnt to let the characters emerge onto the stage and page.

WHAT’S SO FUNNY

Looking at what makes the audience laugh, from techniques used in stand up, sketch and stage comedy.

OH THE DRAMA

How do we create tension, drama and suspense to leave the audience with a nail biting performance on the edge of their seats?


ENSEMBLE WORK

How ideas can come together, advance and grow with multiple brains at work.

WHAT WORKS FOR ME

Choosing what you would like to progress with or explore further from the techniques explored.

SHOWCASE

A chance to recap and show what we may have been working on for feedback.
